 2D PRINT STUDIO

We are delighted with the new Print Room and look forward to welcoming students to use the space and facilities.

Emily Gillmor is the Print Technician.

Emily works 4 days a week. These days vary a little during the first term. Please check the calendar on the Studio door.

The online calendar is now active.

A number of Skills Sessions are available to book to provide a taster of specific mediums available to explore.

This year we have Open Studio Sessions throughout each week. Emily will be available during these sessions to give individual help and guidance.

To use this space, it is preferable to have undertaken an induction or have previous experience….however – please come and talk to Emily to discuss your ideas.

BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY DARK ROOM

To use this space, you will need to have undertaken an induction or have previous experience.

Please be patient as we take time to work out how to organise the new space.  At the moment the dark room is not accessible – but we aim to have it operational ASAP.

The dark room will be opened by a member of staff to give you access.

The dark room can only have one person using it. You are expected to work on your own for the booked time-slot and clean the space before leaving.

All equipment should be available in the space. If you are using expendable materials, please discuss in your online consultation beforehand to check that we have the health and safety data sheets.

SPRAY BOOTH

This space is currently not in use – please talk to Emily or Beatrice. It will be available soon.

To use this space, you will need to have undertaken an induction or have previous experience. You must also wear a P3 mask and have undertaken a face fitting test, which the department can supply you with.

The 2D space will be opened by a member of staff for access. The spray booth can only have one person using it.
