Help keep the Ridgeway and Thames path alive!
The Ridgeway & Thames Path National Trails Office are looking for twenty volunteers to undertake practical tasks to maintain the trails in the summer, vegetation clearance in the winter, and all year gate and sign maintenance Volunteers would be needed flexibly in the daytime for a few hours per week and the tasks take place along the whole length of The Ridgeway and Thames Path National Trails. This opportunity would suit somebody who enjoys variety and change, is self-organised/motivated, wants to get out and about and is physically fit. They would give training as necessary to carry out each task and there is support from task supervisors and a buddy system, with established volunteers. Expenses will be paid for travel up to 25 miles per task (50 miles round trip).
