Business Training opportunity for Science and Life Science Students

Understanding Commerical Organisations:
The Centre for Entrepreneurship is running a one day workshop for undergraduate students from the Science and Life Sciences faculties to help students build their business knowledge, skills. It is aimed at Part 2 students who will be going out on 12 month industry placements next academic session and at Final Year students who are moving in to or looking to move in to science-based industries on graduation.
Workshop aim: To build your transferable exployment capabilities
Where and When: Wednesday 20th June, 9.30 am – 4.30 pm. Hopkins Building Room 101. Lunch included
Workshop content:
- what commercial organisations do
- what their purpose is
- how they do it
- what managers do
- how managers create future business spaces
- utilising internal and external resources for innovation
- team working
- designing
