The Secret Story Draw is a brand new and unique initiative, launched to find raw, rare and audacious talent in the animation industry. The scheme is dedicated to placing illustrators and animators from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds into some of the country’s best animation studios via paid internships.

To take part, you’ll need illustrate one of a selection of short stories written by mystery well-known children’s authors.

Prizes include paid internships with top animation studios and an industry mentor, but just by making a submission you’ll automatically be entitled to attend the Secret Story Draw Sessions- a series of money-can’t-buy creative workshops given by industry insiders dedicated to giving you the inside track on everything you need to know to take your talent to the next level.

Deadline is 28 May 2021, with winners announced in June.
