MSc Food Science (Masters)

Why did you decide to undertake postgraduate study:

I need one more year to enhance my study and find what I really want to do in the future.

Why did you choose to do postgraduate study at Reading?

Because I love our school and department and I think the course structure really suits me.

What has been the best thing about doing postgraduate study?

I feel like I am getting control of my study and entertainment. I used to spend long time fitting into a different study environment and now I do better and have no struggles speaking English and making friends.

What tips would you give to someone considering applying for postgraduate study?

 Be filling prepared and don’t hesitate to ask things you don’t know and not sure.

How did your UROP experience influence your decision to go on to postgraduate study?

My UROP experiences really showed me how to do a lab-based project. It helps me build critical thinking and gives me lots of confidence. I feel I am fully prepared if I want to do a further deeper study.
