RSC Prize Winners Research Colloquium

On Monday 17th October, the Chemistry Department are holding a RSC Prize Winners Research Colloquium

This will take place from 2.30-5pm in Chemistry Lecture Theatre LTG and will include talks from:

Prof. Christine Cardin (University of Reading) “Bonding with DNA”

Dr Susan Quinn (University College Dublin) “Watching photo-induced electron transfer in DNA crystals”

Chemistry Research Colloquium – Dr Clare Grey, University of Cambridge “Following Function in Real Time: Structure and Dynamics in Batteries and Supercapacitors”

On Monday 23rd May, the Chemistry Research Colloquium is by Professor Clare Grey, University of Cambridge.

Her talk, “Following Function in Real Time: Structure and Dynamics in Batteries and Supercapacitors” will be at 3.45pm in Chemistry LTG preceded by refreshments in the foyer at 3.30pm.

Chemistry Research Colloquium – Professor Nico Sommerdijk, Eindhoven University of Technology

On Monday 18th April, the Chemistry Research Colloquium is by the 2015 RSC Prize Winner of the Soft Matter & Biophysical Chemistry Award, Professor Nico Sommerdijk, Eindhoven University of Technology.

His talk “CryoTEM in Materials Chemistry: A versatile tool to study the assembly of macromolecular and hybrid structures”will be at 3.45pm in Chemistry LTG, preceded by refreshments in the foyer from 3.30pm
