EGU and ICAANE conferences

Members of our team will be attending and presenting our research at two conferences in Vienna over the next two weeks.

The first is the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly 2016, which will take place from 17-22 April.

On Monday, Sarah Jones will present her research on the 4.2 ka event in a talk titled “A critical evaluation of the 4.2 ka BP event using new high resolution evidence from stalagmites in the Middle East” As part of the same speleothem session, Dominik Fleitmann will present a poster.

On Friday, Pascal Flohr will present recent research on the Gejkar speleothem record in a talk in the “Studying the Climate of the Last Two Millennia” session.

 

The second conference is the 10th ICAANE, which will take place from 25 to 29 April. The University of Reading is represented here by Roger Matthews, Wendy Matthews, Aroa Suarez-Garcia, and Pascal Flohr.
