The Centre for Wildlife Assessment and Conservation (CWAC) is primarily a forum for student engagement with wildlife: its conservation, identification and recording. CWAC is based at the University of Reading but is not limited to students currently studying at Reading. As well as current Reading students, prospective students, graduates and even students from other universities are welcome to engage and contribute.
Within the School of Biological Sciences at Reading, CWAC offers undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunity to develop practical skills that directly address skills gaps in students of wildlife conservation and ecology, as outlined by the Chartered Instititue for Ecology and Environmental Management. See the degree programmes page for more information.
