Huddersfield are suffering from a serious case of second season syndrome. In fact, the symptoms started to appear after Christmas last season. The Model notices these things, and has persistently forecast the Terriers to struggle. No change this weekend, with the most likely scoreline in their game against Spurs being 0-3 (9%) to the visitors from down South.
West Ham and Manchester United had very different experiences of the Carabao Cup in midweek. the former put 8 past Macclesfield. The latter were beaten by the better side on the night from the division below, Derby County. These are worrying times for Utd fans. The side in midweek was not second-string, with the likes of Lukaku and Matic starting. The Pogba-Mourinho saga is perhaps a manufactured distraction from performances on the pitch. The Model however still forecasts Utd to take three points away from the former Olympic Stadium (0-1, 10%).
