RED has crunched the numbers again and simulated some end-of-season probabilities. Exeter and Swindon both lost, but remain amongst the firm favourites for promotion – Exeter 65.5% likely to go up, Swindon 56.7%, resurgent Plymouth 55.3%.
At the bottom, Stevenage’s loss at Grimsby means the trap door appears to be widening, as they are now 45.4% likely to go down. If the Sun newspaper is accurate (?!), it may be that there are some more twists and turns just yet, though…
