Foundation Degree in Development and Learning
The Foundation Degree in Children’s Development and Learning is intended for staff in childcare and education who want to study for an initial degree. It provides knowledge and understanding to effectively support children, to monitor children’s development and achievements and to respond flexibly to changing circumstances.
BA in Children’s Development and Learning
Our BA in Children’s Development & Learning is intended for students holding foundation degrees. It provides students with the knowledge and understanding to effectively support children, to monitor children’s development and achievements and to respond flexibly to changing circumstances.

Early Years Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is awarded to graduates who have been judged to have met all of the Teachers’ Standards (Early Years) in practice from birth to five years old. The Teachers’ Standards (Early Years) support the training, assessment and award of Early Years Teacher Status.Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) is the only graduate accreditation for the early years workforce.
