DTS are currently working hard to ensure that all requests for software access remotely for Autumn 2020 are looked into, below is a snapshot of our current updates on this software. DTS will update this list once a week. Should anything be missing please liaise with your DTS Business Partner in the first instance.

Q. My software isn’t on this list, what should I do?
A. The best thing to do at this point would be to ensure that a request is raised via TOPdesk using this form, click here, this will ensure that the correct information is captured.
Q. The software I need is listed below but how can students with Mac’s and/or Linux machines access it?
A. DTS are currently working on a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solution that will enable the use of AppsAnywhere on Mac and Linux based computers, we hope to release more information about this shortly.
Q. The software I need is listed below but under notes states that DTS are looking into a solution, what can I do?
A. DTS are working as quickly as we can to find solutions for the software listed, though this takes time due to the amount of software that we have, we will let you know as soon as we can any updates. This list will be updated weekly with further information. In the meantime we would strongly recommend logging a ticket (see Question 1) with your requirements which will help the process.
Q. What if my software cannot be made available off campus with AppsAnywhere?
A. Whilst DTS are making every effort to ensure that as much software that can be available off campus using AppsAnywhere, is available, it is not guaranteed that all software will be able to made available off campus on AppsAnywhere, some factors are beyond our control (licencing restrictions etc), we are aiming to make clear which software will not be available as soon as we can.
