The School of Law is a sponsor of the Magistrates’ Court Mock Trial Competition for schools – a national endeavour and a marvellous opportunity for teenagers to engage with the legal system. This year Professor Cooke attended a competition round held in the Reading Crown Court on 8 March and helped to judge the teams. She was impressed by the students’ performance; definitely some future advocates there!
