The First Annual Sino – UK Conference on Corporate Law in Beijing on 19 April was a great success. The conference addressed issues in corporate law and in particular topics on the structure of an M&A deal, the issues in relation to the takeover rules, as well as issues in relation to the competition assessment of mergers. The conference was very well attended and the organisers are already planning the next conference in Reading in 2015
