June 2012

You are currently browsing the monthly archive for June 2012.

Following positive feedback from Reading students and staff in usability tests, we launched ‘Enterprise’, our new, improved online catalogue on Monday 2 July. We expect it to help you find relevant items more easily - not only within Library collections but Special Collections of rare books and archives and the  Museum of English Rural Life’s collections as well.

Improved searching

  • Enterprise presents most useful matches at the top of your results list by using relevancy ranking, similar to Google
  • It is also more forgiving of misspellings, so searches are less likely to fail
  • Online resource links are more prominent, so access takes fewer clicks

Refine your results

Use as an alternative to the Internet to identify good quality academic research for independent projects and dissertations.
