We’ve been making a lot of behind the scenes changes over the summer, investing in new equipment, music, and promotion, and the time has come to share our exciting plans:

Our website regenerated…

We’re delighted to launch our new website, full of information, photographs, and downloadable guides to everything Music at Reading has to offer. It’ll be kept up to date with events, tickets, registration forms, and more. Ensemble members can visit our all new Member Zone to report absences, keep up to date with notices, download schedules and event briefings, and keep their contact information up to date through this section of our website.

You’ll still find us at www.reading.ac.uk/music, but double check that any bookmarked links are still up to date as our old website will be archived.

We’ve got merch!!

You can now buy your very own Music at Reading t-shirt in our online store, and represent Music at Reading wherever you go.

How jazzy is our new drum kit?!

We’ve invested in new equipment for our jazz ensembles, including a drum kit, amplifiers, and a vocal PA system so that we can be more flexible about our performance venues.

Goodbye scruffy folders…

We’ve invested in brand new choral folders, with a strap on the spine, pencil holder, and strings to hold your music inside. These folders are made from a much stronger and more durable material so that our choirs will look more professional on stage. See them first at our choral Christmas performances: Carol Service, and A Hollywood Christmas.

We can’t wait to see you all in a couple of weeks time for a new year of music making. Make sure you’ve signed up for our welcome event, A Night of Music during Welcome Week, to find out what’s going on before term begins.
