Help teenagers to enjoy rollercoaster rides
Reading Mencap are seeking a volunteer to accompany a family on a monthly basis (Sundays) and once or twice per week in school holidays, to go to theme parks and go on the big rides to accompany and provide support to two teenagers who are on the autistic spectrum. Applicants need to be available all Sundays and the key personal attributes include :
Enjoy variety and change, Good sense of humour, Sociable, Patient, Supportive, Want to get out and about, Enjoy working outside and being physically fit. An induction will be given but applicants will be interviewed, CRB checks will be made and references taken. You do not need your own transport and pre-agreed expenses will be paid.
