Every year RUSU hold elections to see who will spend the next year leading the Students’ Union. These elected Student Officers are paid to work full-time to represent you. They campaign on your behalf to make sure that the Student Voice is heard in the University and beyond. They are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the Union are working for you.

Part-time Officers are also being elected in to represent Disabled, Women, LGBT+, Postgradute, International, Mature, and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic students. There is also a Part-time officer to look after Environment and Ethic concerns. These roles can be performed alongside your studies.

The Student Trustees‘  primary role is to sit on the RUSU Trustee Board and to help guide the direction and strategy of the Union.

The Faculty Reps give the students academic representation within the University. They play a key role in ensuring that the student voice is heard and working on academic campaigns.

Nominations are now open for these leadership and representation roles in RUSU. All of the roles give you new skills and experiences and will look great on your CV!
