Rainbow flagSaturday 17 May marks International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT) and the University of Reading, as a new member of the Stonewall Diversity Champion’s programme, is proud to be flying the rainbow flag in support of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender equality.

The flag will be raised between the Library and Whiteknights House – all are invited to gather by the flagpole at 12noon on Friday 16 May.

We are seeking to continue the legacy of its former Vice-Chancellor, Lord Wolfenden, by promoting diversity and tolerance in its research, teaching, and support for all who study and work here.
