Turnitin connector updated – student access problems now resolved

A recent post highlighted a problem which some students were experiencing when attempting to access feedback on Turnitin assignments via the Blackboard My Grades tool.

The cause of the problem has now been identified, and Turnitin have updated the connector which integrates  their system with Blackboard.

Working with IT, we have tested this new connector, and are confident that it resolves the issues which students have been experiencing.

The Turnitin update was applied on Blackboard yesterday evening.

Staff should not notice any changes as a result of this update.

 

N.B. If you mark work directly in Turnitin, using GradeMark, please advise your students that the simplest way for them to view their feedback is by going back to the Turnitin submission point, rather than going via My Grades.
