In June 2017 Sally-Lloyd Evans (SAGES) received the INVOLVE award at the Research Impact and Engagement Champions awards ceremony.

Sally’s leadership of the Whitley Researchers project has enabled people in South Reading to become co-researchers in projects to improve their communities. That work will continue and be extended in the coming years with support from the Arts Council and Heritage England, Reading Council Decent Neighbourhood Fund, and from local businesses
