Soapbox Science – London’s South Bank – this Sunday

If you are at a loose end on Sunday and feel like a day out in London, please come along to the free Soapbox Science event by the Thames at Gabriel’s Wharf (between Southbank Centre and Tate Modern).

From 12-3 p.m. there will be a series of female scientists literally standing on soapboxes talking about their work to anyone who passes by. Props, demos and fascinating facts guaranteed!

Our very own Head of Department Ellie Highwood kicks off the agenda when she talks on “When smoke gets in your skies: the effect of atmospheric aerosols on weather and climate”.
