What do we mean recruitment ready?

  • Most first jobs, whether apprentice or graduate, now recruit their new staff through assessment centres.
  • Assessment centres require a range of skills from interviewing and networking, to presenting and group work.
  • We believe that the only way to ace an assessment centre is to practice, so we’ve arranged a number of opportunities for blind and partially sighted students to do just that!

Each session will be split into three parts:

  • Interviews with professional hiring managers
  • A group task
  • A presentation challenge

Everyone that attends will receive performance feedback from each part of the day and will have the chance to speak with one of the Blind in Business team for career guidance and to develop their own future action plan.
