New master’s students: your career options
September 27, 2019 @ 12:00 - 13:00
A master’s degree can give you the edge when applying for graduate vacancies, but you need to be able to clearly communicate its value in a way that employers understand. Come along to this interactive workshop to better understand recruiters’ views on master’s degrees, and how to market your course to get their attention. Learn techniques for identifying graduate roles that will suit your newly acquired skills and knowledge and understand the timelines and application processes.
Who’s it for?
This workshop is aimed a taught postgraduate students who are new to Reading. If you are completing a master’s degree that is combined with your undergraduate degree, this session is likely to be less relevant to you.
*This workshop can count for 1 hour of your RED Award training and development hours. Find out more about the RED Award at reading.ac.uk/REDAward
