“MEASURE FOR MEASURE – Improving the science of measurement”

Modern Life is dependent on the application of technology for a huge
range of our needs and concerns, and these depend on making
measurements – always subject to some uncertainty. Metrology is thus
fundamental to all our lives, and recent proposals to change the unit
definitions on which it depends could be a major advance for our future.
