Computer Science present at 2024 UROP showcase

Boris Fedorov represented the Computer Science department at the 2024 Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) showcase. The event was held on 13th November at the Whiteknights campus. The program is designed to give undergraduate students the chance to engage in real research projects. Boris worked on an ongoing research project led by Dr. Luis Patino, focusing on the analysis of walking patterns in elderly people.

What Boris said of his UROP experience: ‘The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP’24) allowed me to apply my academic knowledge, creative and critical thinking to solve real-world problems. Through this opportunity, I gained valuable experience in conducting research, developing and testing programs, and evaluating results.’
