You’ve found the iron sheep trough and the water pump. Now it’s time to find some hidden water. Under one of the Hyde Park buildings is a Victorian reservoir. Nothing is visible at ground level except a rise in the ground. The reservoir is now used in training of police divers needing to learn to work underground and under water in the dark.
Use this picture and Google image search to find your next locality.
When you get there look for the evidence of a reservoir. There are Victorian iron pipes and control valves to find in the garden of this building. They used to control water flow from the reservoir. Tweet a photo of them to #NaiadIsis to prove you’ve found them.
To complete this final task you need to find a trapdoor that seals off the entrance to the reservoir. Here is a photo of the trapdoor:
Look above the trapdoor and photograph the insect depicted there – tweet the photo and name of the insect tagged #NaiadIsis to show you have completed the challenge.
How many uses of water have you seen? Has the use of water changed in the park over time? Tweet your thoughts to #NaiadIsis.
All done? Tweet ‘Finished’ to #NaiadIsis and await a response.
