Link with Destinations

Following up from the meeting with David Stanbury in December, Karsten and I went to meet with Chris Flanagan to discuss the DEVELOP Project and explain what we were trying to do. Chris was able to explain to us how we could link to the Destinations content by using a piece of script that he and a summer intern had developed. Using this code we should be able to build our widget that get at and hopefully search for content on the site.

However, when Chris sent the script by e-mail he also warned of some potential issues with the content we can get out and into Blackboard:

One of the problems with the Destinations website is the sheer number of extraneous classes – the main stylesheet stretches to over 1100 lines and most of this is compacted!

Styling is an issue we will have to look at more generally as we develop!
