Man City were ‘a barely recognisable rabble’ in the midweek Champions League tie against Lyon. Guardiola returns to the touchline for his side’s visit to Cardiff. The Model forecasts business as usual, a 0-2 win to City.
The Model is consistently pessimistic about Wolves, giving them just a 6% chance of victory at Old Trafford, despite them impressing pundits and casual observers alike so far this season.
The Toon are sure to be worried. Newcastle may have an experienced and respected manager in Rafa Benitez, but they only have a solitary point so far this campaign. They will hope to add to that tally when they take on Zaha (best player outside the top-6 clubs…) and Crystal Palace. The Model forecasts a Palace win (2-1; 10%)
