The American elections may be taking place today but we are forecasting something else as usual – the results of the English Championship.
It’s all still looking quite close really. There are four home 1-0’s looking most likely and 8 draws predicted (see Score Picks, Most).
There are 3 teams with a 50%+ chance of a home win in our model – These are:
Birmingham v Wycombe (of course after winning at the weekend, Wycombe fans may disagree),
Derby v QPR
Norwich v Millwall (See Outcome Probs, Home for the actual % in our model)
Bookmakers have Birmingham and Nottingham Forest as their only teams with a 50%+ chance of a win (See Mean Odds).
League leaders Reading are predicted to draw with Preston although Reading do have an expected goals of 1.58 to Preston’s 1.16 and whilst Reading finally lost at the weekend, Preston have lost their last 2.
