The launch of this year’s Creative Arts Anthology, One Moment’s Clouds, was a great success. As the series has grown since it started in 2008—receiving around three hundred submissions this year alone—so too have its supporters and contributors, some of whom very kindly gave us the opportunity to hear them read their own work. Among them was Kate Pursglove, whose poem “Putting Pissarro right” provided this year’s title. In addition to poetry, prose work was also read, including “The Last Supper” by Ken Sullivan, who organises a creative writing group at Leighton Park School. Visual art from the book was on display throughout the event.
One Moment’s Clouds is available for £5 from HumSS 15 and Blackwell’s on the Whiteknights campus as well as Waterstones on Broad Street and in the Oracle in Reading.
