This week, the Contemporary Poetry Discussion Group will be looking at A Mutual Friend: Poems for Charles Dickens, an anthology of poems brought out in celebration of the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens and chosen by Kat.
We will be meeting at 5:15 pm on Thursday 6 September in Room 112 in the HUMSS Building on Whiteknights Campus.
There are four poems to enjoy: ‘Pip and Magwitch’ by Paul Muldoon; ‘Ivy’ by Isabel Galleymore; ‘Pip and Magwitch’ by Paul Muldoon; ‘Megalosaurus’ by A. F. Harrold; and ‘Rubbish Theory’ by Peter Robinson. We hope you’ll enjoy them!
