Creative Writing Competition for International Women’s Day
On Friday 8th March, the Women’s Campaign Society are holding a fayre for International Women’s Day. In aid of this we are having a Creative Writing Competition with the theme being quite simply International Women’s Day. It can be about anything that you feel is relevant to this topic!! The maximum word limit is 2,000 words. Don’t feel put off by this it’s a maximum and doesn’t need to be reached!
All entries should be emailed to: carys_williams@hotmail.com and we are currently arranging a drop off point if you would like to hand in a hard copy. The competition will close on the 22nd February 2012.
The competition is going to be judged by Peter Robinson, so this is a fantastic opportunity to have your work read by a brilliant published writer! Also there will be prizes and hopefully all (if not a large majority) will be made into a booklet that will be available at the fayre!
So, get writing! 🙂
