Reading in the Times Literary Supplement this week

From Nicola

Two items in this week’s TLS come from members of the department. Professor Bryan Cheyette has a review of Elaine Feinstein’s It Goes with the Territory – Memoirs of a poet which he describes as a memoir that is ‘a continuation of the imaginative work rather than a divergence from it’, and the reissue of Ethel Carnie’s first novel, Miss Nobody (1913) (General editor Dr Nicola Wilson) is reviewed in the literature section under the title ‘Bedazzled’ along with a new edition of A.E.Coppard’s Weep not my Wanton and selected short stories, and Leonard Merrick’s Mr Bazalgette’s Agent (1888).
