Honey and Ghee has just opened on Shinfield Road, Reading and is known for Indian groceries, African groceries, Pakistani groceries, fresh fruits & vegetables, halal meat, fresh fish and Pooja items.

Reading Farmers’ Market sells local food and drink and is held at the Cattle Market.

Reading Vegan Market takes place throughout the year at various places in and around Reading.

Global Foods & Groceries sells various food from Sri-Lanka, India, Pakistan and China.

Eti-Osa Afro Carribean Shop is a specialist importer & exporter of African Foods including selection of specialist regional foods from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon and Gambia.

Istanbul Food Centre sells Eastern and European food, including halal meat. There are a number of other halal shops and restaurants in Reading and many of them are not too far from the University. The Muslim Centre at the university will also be able to recommend other places.
