We have seen another increase in phishing emails over the last few weeks and this is having an impact on both staff and support services.
If you receive a message such as the examples below, or purporting to be from other companies such as Apple or Fedex, please delete them and do not click on links in them.
If you click on the links in such emails, you can compromise your personal data, that of others and also necessitate a complete rebuild of your computer. This is naturally very disruptive and can take a long time, both for you and for IT to complete.
If you have ordered an item from Apple, or from Amazon or another service, please try checking your account with the site that you have ordered from and not via such emails.
If you have any concerns regarding an email that you have received, please contact the IT Service Desk.
