Careers advice for students

Academics in the School of Law were delighted to receive a copy of Career Planning for Solicitors presented by Visiting Fellow in Family Law, Tony Roe. The book includes some very practical and helpful information for students considering a career in law and will be a useful addition to the resources offered by the School to law students. Principal for Tony Roe Solicitors, Tony has written a chapter in this book on starting a law firm. He is well placed to offer such advice following the successful establishment of his niche family law practice in Theale, Berkshire.

The School of Law is committed to offering the very best advice and support to all students in their career planning and welcomes a number of professionals every year in targeted career sessions. Tony Roe will be back in the School of Law in February to give students an insight into life in private practice.

Career Planning for Solicitors (edited by Sue Lenkowski) is published by The Law Society.
