Owing to the developing coronavirus situation, and following advice from the Major Incident Team, the University of Reading Chamber Choir will not be performing in London at the Brandenburg Festival on Friday.
Our primary concern is to protect the health of our University community and, by extension, our wider community including visitors and guests.Our Major Incident Group is meeting regularly to monitor the situation closely and follow Public Health England (PHE) and UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) advice. All face-to-face teaching will cease, and all teaching and assessment will be provided online from Wednesday 18 March.
We understand that this news will be disappointing and would like to reassure you that it is not a decision we have taken lightly. Refunds are being handled by the Brandenburg Festival team.
