Our in-person music rehearsals are available for all University of Reading students, colleagues and alumni.

All rehearsals for the following groups have restarted this Summer Term.

Big Band – we are opening up for anyone who plays a jazz instrument to come and have a go. Everyone welcome!

Choirs– to keep up with the demand, we are continuing to run two choir sessions in 2022. One each for upper voices and mixed voices.

Orchestra – This is concert band, string orchestra, brass band and chamber orchestra all rolled into one. Open to any and all instrumentalists. Just come and play!

Percussion Ensemble – *NEW in 2022* Run by experienced percussion players Joseph Young and Maia Slater, this group is a chance for our traditional percussionists as well as our drummers to collaborate.

Your safety is our priority. We will be adhering to capacity limits, social distancing guidelines and will react appropriately as new Covid-19 guidance is issued.
