Abstract:

My project is looking at the ability of novel, diverse crop rotations to enhance a number of ecosystem services which include yield, pest regulation and biodiversity. Measurements of ecosystem service delivery are being taken on a plot scale field experiment to see how crop rotations along a spectrum of diversification perform over time and whether there are any trade-offs or synergies between services.
