If I Were a Fresher (Friday)

I would get some breakfast. Definitely get some breakfast.

There are still lots of timetabled sessions on today, so I really must make sure I don’t miss anything relevant to me and my course.

I’ve got the germ of a business idea (no, I’m not telling you), so at 10:00 I think I will pop along to the What Makes an Entrepreneur?session in room 108 of the Business School. Then at 12:00 I’m going to head to Reading Experience and Development (RED) Award in room 201 Carrington Building to find out all about the award and what it can do for me (and my employment prospects).

Being an oldie (but goodie) I’m going to head to the Mature Students’ Freshers’ Week Quiz in room 201, Carrington Building. Then that’s me pretty much done for the week.

One last look at the checklist:

Campus Card – Done
Library session (Finding Your Way in the Library) – Done
Hall Fire Safety Talk – Done (if you’ve missed your you can sneak into the one at 16:00 in G10, Palmer Building at 16:00)
Using Computers on Campus session – Done
Department Welcome – Done (if you’ve missed this you should contact your Department asap)
Meet Your Personal Tutor – Done (if you’ve missed this you should contact your Department asap)

That’s it – Freshers’ Week is officially done! How was your week?
