SATURDAY 10th MARCH

Ben Pedley Memorial Concert. This concert explores the theme of Remembrance. We commemorate the life of Ben Pedley, a second year Chemistry student who died in a road traffic accident in 2017. We present music that was meaningful to Ben in the first half of the programme, celebrating his love of a diverse range of songs and piano music. 7.30pm. Great Hall London Road Campus.

Update Friday 2 March: Severe weather forecast and possible disruption

The Met Office Weather Warning for snow and ice remains in place on Friday and Saturday and conditions on campus remain largely unchanged since Thursday.

The University is open but we anticipate that there will be disruption due to students and members of staff experiencing difficulties traveling to campus. If you are travelling, please ensure that you have both a safe route to campus but also home again and use public transport wherever possible.

If you are unable to travel to campus please report any absence as normal. Check your University email address regularly for notification of any classes or other activities being re-scheduled. Please also check the Me@Reading student portal for the latest advice and information.

The Met Office has issued Weather Warning for snow on Thursday, with further severe weather forecast on Friday and into the weekend.
