The reason the problem has arisen is that, when we developed the new colour scheme for Blackboard, we found that we could enforce a white menu background for all courses, but were not able to enforce a colour for the menu text. On some courses and organisations, at some date in the past, staff must have selected white menu text – meaning that the menu on those sites is now displaying as white text on a white background.
