What are Blackboard LTI resources and where can they be found?
LTI resources are 3rd party technologies that integrate with Blackboard, for example, ‘YuJa’ (the University’s learning capture tool). LTI resources can be found in Blackboard Learn Ultra via the ‘Content Market’ or ‘Books & Tools’ and Blackboard Learn Original when selecting ‘Build’, ‘Assessment’, ‘Tools’ or ‘Partner Content’.
Why are the icons and display names changing?
To better represent the function of LTI resources (so users know what they are clicking on) some LTI icons and display names will be updated (list below). The new icons have been designed to complement the existing Ultra iconography and the display names better reflect the type of content or feature it represents. *Please note, the location of LTI resources has not changed, these can still be found in exactly the same places on Blackboard.
When will the change be made?
This change will be visible in both Blackboard Ultra and Original from 4th April 2024.
Here is a list of the updated icons and display names:
