Course Content Page Enhancements
Topic: Interface
Feature Details: The Details and Actions menu has moved from the left to the right-hand side of the course page. There are also changes to the way content is laid out in learning modules and folders.
What does this mean for you?: No functionality or processes have changed. The movement of the Details and Actions menu provides a more engaging interface, which reduces cognitive load and increases focus on the course content. There is more intuitive access to the content plus button. Smaller text size allows for less scrolling on the page. The student view has rounded edges showing distinct sections within the template and course content.

Knowledge Check in Ultra Documents
Topic: Content
Feature Details: Add a formative quiz to your Ultra Documents.
What does this mean for you?: Create a quick-check quizzes within your Ultra Documents to allow students further opportunity to engage with their course material. Use the metrics to check students’ comprehension and engagement.

Student Activity Log
Topic: Analytics
Feature Details: The Student Activity Log allows instructors to see when and what students are accessing in a Blackboard course.
What does this mean for you?: Alongside the student progress overview, the student activity log will help you see when your students are accessing a particular piece of work. It may also help you if students have access issues, to check whether they have been able to access a test or piece of content.

Gradebook Overview Tab

Feature Details: A new tab has been added to the Gradebook giving an overview of work which needs marking.
What does this mean for you?: Whilst this is feature does not need to replace any existing workflows, it might help by showing you what needs to be done for a particular assignment.
