Enhanced Ultra Documents
Topic: Content
Feature Details: You can now edit an Ultra Document as a whole before saving all sections. Sections can be moved into columns and rows. An additional option allows you to convert Microsoft Word files into the Blackboard Ultra Document format.
What does this mean for you?: The change has no implications for existing Ultra Documents. Documents will stay as they are unless you wish to edit the content to allow for the new features. You will be able to convert existing Word or PDF handouts to an Ultra format, allowing you add extra video content and have your session materials in one place. You can now format the Ultra Documents to have greater flexibility as to how you present materials.

Improved Blackboard Assignment Information
Topic: Assessment Marking and Feedback
Feature Details: New instructions box for Instructors, which students can view on their first submission attempt. New attempts box for students to make it clearer to add assessment.
What does this mean for you?: Setting up assignments remains very much the same, however an instructions box replaces the ability to add questions or the need for a text box, allowing students to see more detailed and lengthier instructions when preparing to submit their assignments. This now separates the Assignment and Tests interfaces. You may still wish to add the assignment details and instructions elsewhere in the content if you prefer.
