Embodied Carbon: linking academic research with industry innovation

Here at the TSBE Centre we are leading research into Embodied Carbon, come along on the 9th April and find out how we are supporting industry through academic methods. Panel debate with questions from the floor, followed by round table discussion.

Participating companies include: Sainsbury’s, AECOM and Peter Brett Associates.

Emboided Carbon Week 2014 will bring together the built environment industry to:

  • Raise awareness of the importance of embodied carbon in the built environment
  • Hear from experts about what’s currently happening around embodied carbon within each sector, and what the challenges are
  • Encourage collaboration on the different measurement approaches and agree a way forward
  • Agree actions for the various sectors as to next steps to ensure best practice prevails across the industry and regulation
