Marek was a student with the TSBE Centre, University of Reading for four years. During this time his research with AES Corporation led to his thesis entitled ‘The impact of high levels of renewable generation on conventional fossil fuel based electricity markets’, which he worked on with academic supervisors Professor Janet Barlow and Dr Phil Coker.
