February 22 – March 7 is Fairtrade Fortnight and you can take part by joining the University of Reading in the Fairtrade Baking Challenge!
Dust of your kitchen scales and make something delicious in aid of Fairtrade and be in with the chance to win 1 of 3 prizes!
The prizes for the competition are vouchers for the Risc shop in Reading. The prizes are: best student entry £100 voucher, best staff entry £50, most quirky £50.
All you need to do is use as many Fairtrade ingredients as possible and make something, it’s that simple! It can be adventurous as you would like, this is your chance to show us what you can do! It doesn’t need to be a cake; you can make something savoury if you prefer. The three categories to win a prize in are:
- Best looking student entry
- Best looking staff entry
- Most quirky & creative
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions we can’t taste the entries 😭 so please enter using the UoR Fairtrade Fortnight hashtag #UoRFairtradeChallenge Entries will close on the 3rd March and all winners will be announced on the 5th.
