On 24 January we will be launching the collection: Promoting Racial Justice in Teaching and Learning. A diverse collection of pieces drawing on the knowledge, talents and lived experiences of staff and students on the theme of racial justice in teaching and learning.

We are launching this exciting collection with an exhibition, racial equality webpages, a job opportunity and associated events that you can take part in:

From 24 January | From 9:00 | Essentials

  • Visit the exhibition: Promoting Racial Justice in Teaching and Learning, showcasing and bringing to life the collection in a free exhibition.

24 January – 24 February | from 9:00 | UoR library foyer

  • Sign up for the free film screening of Jordan Peele’s award-winning film ‘Get Out’ accompanied by a panel discussion and Q&A on the film’s themes.

26 January |15:00-18:00 | Palmer G10 | Register for your place now

  • Register for the launch of Between The Lines a discussion space for staff and students that uses cultural media as a springboard for discussions about race and allyship.

Beginning 27 January | 13:00-14:00 | Edith Morley 141| Register for your place now

  • Apply to become an Inclusion Consultant

Passionate about diversity and inclusion? Students who identify as being from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds are eligible to apply for a new, paid, part-time campus job focusing on diversity and inclusion
